MISSION STATEMENT
The Summit Within is dedicated to facilitating nature-based workshops, retreats, and coaching to help individuals restore balance, process stress and grief, and reconnect with their purpose. Through mindful outdoor practices and reflective learning, we aim to build resilience, foster a sense of belonging, and promote post-traumatic growth—especially for helpers, veterans, and first responders.

ECOTHERAPY-INFORMED CORE VALUES
Interconnection
Healing happens within relationships, between people, nature, and community. We honor the reciprocal bond between human wellbeing and the living world.
Presence & Grounding
The natural environment offers stillness and perspective. Mindful engagement outdoors helps participants slow down, regulate their nervous systems, and find clarity.
Community & Belonging
Shared outdoor experiences cultivate trust, empathy, and mutual support, reminding participants that they are part of something larger than themselves.
Embodiment & Awareness
Stewardship & Purpose
Movement, breath, and sensory awareness restore balance between body and mind. Participants learn to “listen” to the body as a guide for emotional healing.
Connecting with the land fosters gratitude, meaning, and renewed commitment to service—core aspects of post-traumatic growth.
